Hurricanes are among the most destructive and complex natural catastrophes. Insured losses from hurricanes represent 10 out of the top 12 most costly disasters in US history, according to the Insurance Information Institute.

EQECAT'S USWind report is a must for brokers and underwriters who are looking to analyze their hurricane risk. By simply typing in an address,
it's possible to get individual wind AAL & PML results for residential and commercial properties from Maine to Texas.

This report is updated yearly and it covers the US coastline (approximately 3,100 miles) of states that are susceptible to North Atlantic Hurricanes, including PR. The addition of the EQECAT USWind report expands on our current EQECAT offerings, which mainly focus on Earthquake risks, and compliments the Earthquake AALs and PMLs we already offer from EQECAT.
