Delaware
Storm Surge Now Available |
|
CDS has added Delaware to its growing list of areas where
the RiskMeter Storm Surge report is now available. This report
identifies areas susceptible to coastal flooding from
hurricanes. The next state that will be added is NJ, followed
by MD and VA. Then we will have the entire Gulf and Atlantic
Coasts complete. Stay tuned! Also, please see the related
articles about our upcoming WebEx on the new Storm Surge
report. This is a great way to learn more! If you have any
questions, contact Daniel Munson at 617.737.4444 or dmunson@cdsys.com

Update:
South Carolina Windpool Areas |
|
On March 30, 2007 South Carolina Beach and Coastal windpool
areas were changed and approximately 166 square miles were
added to zones 1 and 2.
The state of South Carolina has
once again made changes to these zones (effective June 1st)
and approximately 330 square miles have been added. We
have updated these maps on the RiskMeter Online, and we will
continue to monitor this situation if anymore changes need to
be made.
If you have any questions, please contact
Jamie Munson at 860.854.6125 or jmunson@cdsys.com

New RiskMeter email eReport |
|
Due to popular demand, the RiskMeter Online has just added
a new feature which makes it possible to email a pdf of a
report. In the past this could be done, but the user needed to
save a copy of the PDF to their computer, and then attach it
to an email. Now it can be done by simply entering an email
address. This will be especially useful for people who want to
save a copy of the report to their imaging system.
Users can utilize this feature by clicking on the
"Email eReport" icon. Once this icon is clicked on, users just
need to submit an email address and the RiskMeter Online will
send a pdf of the report to the email entered. For people who
are interested in adding this feature to their account, please
contact an account executive at 617.737.4444

Batch Tool
for Multi-Location Schedules |
|
CDS has developed a tool that will allow underwriters,
agents and brokers to run schedules through the RiskMeter
themselves! CDS currently runs schedules for clients, but
users must email us a file, which we run through our software
internally, and then it is sent back to the client. With the
new batch tool, users will be able to take their schedules and
run policies through on their own.
How does it work? The only thing users will need
to do is upload a tab delimited file on the batch client Web
site. Once the file is uploaded, it gets processed
automatically and the results are emailed back. Users can
expect to receive an email with their results a few hours
later. This new tool will definitely help brokers, who require
a quick response. This process requires no intervention by
CDS, so schedules can be run at any time of
day.
Live Demonstration On Thursday, July
19th at 2pm EDT Daniel Munson, Founder and VP of Sales
& Marketing, will be doing a live demonstration of the
RiskMeter Batch tool. This is a great way to see firsthand how
this powerful new tool can increase sales and streamline
underwriting. To secure a spot at this event, please go to: https://cdsys.webex.com

FL & TN
Sinkhole Report Update |
|
Tennessee sinkhole report feedback Based on
customer feedback, the RiskMeter Online is looking to see
whether it should add a Tennessee sinkhole report. Due to
recent changes to a law in Tennessee, sinkholes are now a much
bigger issue for insurers. If this is of interest, please
contact Daniel Munson at 617.737.4444 or dmunson@cdsys.com
More than 3,000 sinkholes added to Florida
clearinghouse! CDS is proud to announce that within the
past year over 3,000 sinkholes have been added
RiskMeter's sinkhole clearinghouse. This brings the total
number of sinkholes to over 6,000! CDS believes sharing
sinkhole information will allow carriers to have the most
accurate picture of sinkhole activity in Florida. Missing just
one of these sinkholes could lead to a very costly claim. Get
involved today!
How does the sinkhole clearinghouse program
work? For people who aren't familiar with this program,
here's how it works. Insurers who submit reported sinkholes
will have access to an exclusive database that is
comprised of our data and other carriers' data as well. Taking
part in this program is a win-win situation because it will
give users a better picture of their sinkhole risk. To find
out more about this program, please contact Jamie Munson at
860.854.6125 or jmunson@cdsys.com
