CDS Business Mapping is a leading provider of risk analysis mapping technology to the insurance industry.  We are a small company with large aspirations; having realized double digit growth each of the last 5 years and we are looking for an account executive with the experience and drive to help continue this success. The company's RiskMeter Online is a leading underwriting hazard mapping service used by hundreds of insurers.        

Job Description:

CDS is looking for an energetic, self motivated, seasoned account executive to sell the RiskMeter Online and related services. The position is responsible for prospecting new clients while maintaining existing relationships.  Our company has carved out a niche within the insurance industry so product & industry knowledge are very important. 

The following are primary goals of the account executive

• Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets
• Maintain high activity standards (prospecting, referrals, cold calls, sales meetings and trade shows)
• Manage prospect funnel accurately and effectively
• Identify and qualify prospects by telephone, on-site sales meetings and networking
• Build Relationships with existing clients

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• A minimum of 3 years sales experience is required for this position (background in selling technology to insurance companies is a plus) 
• Excellent communication skills
• A proven track record of consistently closing new business opportunities
• Good listening, effective questioning and exploratory information gathering techniques
• Must be an effective time manager
• PC literacy – including Internet, Windows, Outlook and contact management software
• Limited travel is expected

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $75,000 base salary and commission draw
• 401K - % match by employer
