About Flood Elevation
After the events of the 2005 hurricane season, many insurers learned that flood waters don’t stop at the edge of a flood zone. That’s why CDS added a Flood Elevation report to its RiskMeter Online service. This report makes it possible for insurers to factor in the elevation of a location when determining flood risk.
